Shipping Policy

Standard Shipping Charge

Standard shipping charges are based on the total value of merchandise shipped to each address. We only offer Standard Shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. Accessories and gift items are shipped via Standard Shipping with UPS or USPS. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Standard shipping (UPS or USPS) of in-stock non-furniture items will arrive in approximately 4-9 business days (Monday through Friday). Items ordered at the same time may not arrive in the same shipment. Additional delivery charges may apply to items that are too large or bulky to be accommodated by our standard shipping charges.

Local Furniture Delivery

We will deliver local delivery up to 100 miles from the stores location.

Disclaimer

We inspect all furniture pieces before shipment. Freight damages on occasion do occur in transit. Please follow the procedures below:

  1. Inspect your shipment before the driver leaves.

  2. If you suspect hidden damages, open the box and check the condition of the merchandise.

  3. If you find damages, please have the driver make note on the freight bill the number of damaged pieces and a detailed description of the nature of the damage.

  4. Be prepared to provide proof of damages with photographic documentation of the damaged box and merchandise.

The customer is responsible for determining whether merchandise can be delivered from the delivery truck to the item's final destination. Please be aware of corridors, doorways, elevators, ceiling heights, turning radius, etc. which may cause a delivery problem. If the customer is not home at the time of a furniture delivery, additional shipping charges may be incurred for re-delivery. All shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for any additional return shipping costs.

Return Policy

Southfork Showroom wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. You may return merchandise purchased at Southfork Showroom if it meets the criteria below. Refunds will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase. Merchandise paid by cash or check will be refunded by corporate check and mailed.

All shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. All returned merchandise must be in "like new" condition and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required and return authorization must be obtained prior to return of shipment. An order cannot be cancelled once it has shipped. If you decide to cancel your order after shipment, our standard return policy will apply. Please contact us at k.fitzgerald@capeelectric.com for assistance in returning the merchandise.

No Returns or Exchanges

Fabrics, trim, floor model items, clearance items, sale items, gift cards, delivery fees, or installation fees cannot be returned or exchanged.

Special Order Items (includes furniture, fabrics, rugs, lighting, accessories, etc.) 

No returns or exchanges on any special order item that is manufactured just for you. Examples would be custom upholstery furniture, cut yardage, and canvas art. Customers have 24 hours from the order date to cancel the order. Thereafter, cancellations will not be accepted.

Returns Process

  • Please reference your original Order Number.

  • If the item is eligible for a return, we will provide a return address to ship back the merchandise. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The initial shipping charge is non-refundable.

  • We will email you a return shipping label upon request or you can ship the merchandise directly to Southfork Showroom, Fedex.Some large furniture items will most likely require Southfork Showroom to schedule a return pickup via a specialize furniture shipping company.

  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise, we will issue the refund within 4-5 business days. If Southfork Showroom provided the return shipping label or scheduled the return shipping logistics, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your total refund amount.

We carefully inspect all merchandise before shipment. We encourage you to inspect all merchandise for possible damages upon receipt. In the event that damages occur in transit, or if you discover any manufacturer defects, please contact us immediately at k.fitzgerald@capeelectric.com Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected and all proper refunds will be issued.
